I made one of these after getting quoted more than $200 at a local pond store. You can easily build one of these yourself in about 30 minutes for less than $20. Note: I’ve used a spillway exactly like this 24/7 for well over 2 years now. No leaks. No problems whatsoever. Have fun! Hello, my name is Henry and I’m from Venezuela, live in an apartment and want to do something similar in my living room but I have only one square meter or so, you can give me an idea to make a small, thanks.
good one.. i think you did a great job!
You are the man! this is exactly what I was looking for!
God bless!
Nice way to make a waterfall . I don’t like that when you look into the pond you see that milk crate and pump. That should be hidden by Rocks or something.
I call it a 1 1/4″ “hole saw”…..
Hey the hole drilling tool.. its an inch and a quarter size right? what is that thing called? the piece that goes on drill.. thanks so much. il post my pond once I get this waterfall going.. you savin me a lot of money! instead of getting the biofalls or some fancy thing
You did a good job. Thanks for the idea. I will do the same thing. Saves a buck.
it will look a lot betta if their was green grass arowned it
can you connect 2 or more together if you drill a hole on the other side and connect them to each other. If you have tried this i would be quite interested to here your results. thanks for posting this video one of the best iv watched!
Check your local landscaping store. Even Home Depot has flagstone.
desert?? where can i find flag stone in california??
The flat piece of flagstone was purchased at a landscaping store for a few dollars. The rest was found in the desert for free.
where can you get the stones used on the water fall??
Jmoney-
see my video response-
I can’t wait to try it ..thanx
Actually, I purchased the pump before I came up with the idea. I had to fit the parts around the pump. I pretty much decided on this pump because the guy at the pond store told me it would work for the size of the pond I was building.
How did you decide on the size for your pump?
Great video you have also just saved me hundreds of pounds also,Thank you
the milk crate is an eye sore it could have been hidden much better
you can buy aquarium sealent at just about any hardware store or pet shop.
Great to see people being so creative!!
Thank you for giving it a try!
Thanks. I went to the neighborhood hardware store and found some. Works great. We love the water fall using your weir setup.
Thanks Again.
Thanks so much for posting this video. It was explained in wonderful detail. Very creative!
The silicon I used was:
GC Electronics 10-150 “Silicone Rubber Adhesive Sealant”
